Medicine. Surgery. Aesthetics

Based in Philadelphia, Dr. Elgash is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Jefferson Medical College, where she specializes in cosmetic dermatology with a focus on laser surgery and advanced injection techniques. She trains the next generation of dermatologists in cosmetic procedures, holding her own work to the same evidence-based standard she teaches while staying at the forefront of the field. Dr. Elgash is deeply committed to expanding access to specialized skin cancer care, regularly treating complex and advanced tumors in rural communities where fellowship-trained Mohs surgeons are few and far between.

She sees patients across the full scope of dermatology — from chronic skin conditions like acne, rosacea, and eczema, to cosmetic treatments that focus on skin quality and natural results, to large and complex skin cancers requiring advanced surgical care. She draws on her cosmetic expertise to offer reconstruction after Mohs surgery that is aesthetically considered, so patients leave not only cancer-free, but also feeling good about how they look.

She takes time to listen, explain, and offer recommendations that are honest and grounded in what will actually make a difference. Her cosmetic work reflects the same sensibility: refined, subtle, and focused on results that look natural and undetectable.
